I bought some thin cotton trousers a few weeks ago in the sale, which I preceded to put a huge rip (~18') in the crotch of by bending over about 10 minutes after I put them on and M&S gave me a full refund, no questions asked.

I don't and didn't. I got soaked (feet included) at 3:45 and didn't get home until 2 and a half hours later after walking in the rain again.
