What's going on?!?!?!

So... today I just discovered that starting today, OUT OF NOWHERE, I am no longer able to view any of the following on my LiveJournal

Yeah, there was a glitch, but things are supposed to be back to normal.

You can always write to them and ask them to extend your journal. They have been doing it for those of us that cannot pay. ;)

Yeah, it did eventually go back to normal for me as well. Plus, I saw an article that said to try using my phone's hotspot if that happened, so I did, and either LJ coincidentally fixed the issue at the same time I tried it or I was able to see the images and videos that way to begin with. Either way, now I know what to try first if it happens again. :)

I've considered writing to them and asking them to extend my journal - they did so a couple of times without me having to ask directly (I think I did post something about my issue in support the first time but I don't think I did the second time) and I've heard others have - but I didn't try it yet because up until now I was under the impression it wasn't guaranteed that they would extend it for everyone who asks and I didn't want to get my hopes up if it wasn't going to work. I haven't even bothered renewing my DW paid account even though I know I can still do that, because not being able to do so on LJ had me so unmotivated.

It did, but it was happening for long enough to make me anxious. Only a couple of days, I think, but those were a stressful couple of days and I really didn't expect LJ to actually fix it. :(
