Dos and don'ts of jokes about the coronavirus

DON'T:

Make any jokes about the coronavirus, EVER. They're not funny and won't be until at least ten years after the pandemic is over. I don't even like declaring jokes about particular topics to be "too soon", but I am for this.

DO:

Make jokes about literally anything else instead.

rant, humor, tags will come later

That's your opinion, which you are certainly entitled to. Other people only find relief from it by joking about it. Different strokes for different folks. :)

I wish I had a way of filtering out all the jokes about it, then. And I wish the people joking about it wouldn't joke about ONLY the coronavirus now.

Remember how several years ago I installed FoxReplace so I could replace Internet memes I found annoying, characters I disliked, generally anything I disliked with my own inside jokes/characters I like/etc.? Well, now I have recently installed a similar extension for Chrome and have it set up to replace terms related to the coronavirus WITH Internet memes I found annoying at some point. Because at this point, not even those would be as annoying as hearing about the coronavirus all the time. (Though, I use IE when I'm on LJ or DW so I don't accidentally write "Bowsette" in an entry instead of "coronavirus" or something.)
