Flash emulator

Dear larsiusprime and anyone else who happens to be working on this Flash Player emulator:

I commend you for taking the initiative and trying to find a way for Flash content to be preserved for future generations; however, I would like to ask you one thing:

Why is it that, according to the GitHub page for this project, nothing has been done ( Read more... )

Thanks for sharing! :)

I tried watching a Strong Bad Email with it... looks like there's still some audio/video synchronization issues and visual bugs that need to be addressed. I assume that this has to do with the ActionScript support not being implemented yet as the main page states. But at least I know that there is a project like this that is still being worked on! :)

Thanks again!

I feel better now that I know about the other Flash emulator that wuyuansheng linked to, at least. That one may not be fully functional yet, but at least it exists and I know it's still under active development and functional enough at this point that there's hope of them completing it before 2021.

And, while I'd like for it to be working properly eventually, it's a little amusing to watch the somewhat glitched-up version of the first sbemail I ever watched - the Compy's screen was green with red blocks behind the text that showed up earlier than it should have, Bubs' face was randomly green at one point, one easter egg's audio can play over the other, etc. I should try it with other sbemails and see what happens. :)
