Yes, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is going to be released in January - but it’s not exactly a new game as it’s basically New Super Mario Bros U (which was released in 2012) but for the Nintendo Switch and with a few extra features... one of which being what I feel is the worst powerup in the entire series: the Super Crown.

Bowsette is not an actual Mario character - just a (very very overused) Internet meme that ALREADY spawned out of “what if someone other than Toadette could use the Super Crown?”

After I posted this, I felt weird about it for a while because a) I felt like I was in a weird mood and had a weird sense of humor when I wrote it and b) I felt like I might be complaining about Bowsette too much on LJ/DW. I'm glad to see I'm wrong about A, at the very least :)
