In case you were wondering why I was gone, the main reason is because, after seeing derogatory comments about PrtSc Land, I started trying to avoid most websites I promoted PrtSc Land on. Yay on the first place! And I've told you before, don't listen to what certain idiots say about your comic. Did you figure out what you want as your present for the competition?

Well, the thing is, it turns out they're not that much of idiots, since a well-respected SmackJeeves member (I think it was jimmydabomb, but I'm not sure) told me that the first strips were "pretty...ick", but later on the comic gets better, and suggested I restart with just the good strips. So it seems that the only thing to do is make the plot apparent within the first few comics, and later on, screenshots like the original version can still be used occasionally. But for the time being, I'm still into backwards music and Ours Will You 1-Up more.

And as for the prize, I decided I wanted an a a a a a an Who am I kidding? I still haven't remembered what I wanted.

(Explanation to anyone besides us who happens to revisit this entry even later than we did: Some drama on LJ that happened much later made it seem not only plausible, but likely, that a lot of my old entries and comments - including this one - might make people, even my LJ friends, hate me, so I linked to all of the posts that I was worried about.)

(First appearance of the phrase "holy whole hand dealer" on my LJ, which doesn't make sense to people who haven't read the backwards Sarah McLachlan lyric that inspired it. Which isn't many people considering that I still have OWY1U down now, and due to a lot of issues about the format, it's likely to stay that way for a lot longer.

You have to realize that a) not everyone knows what "holy whole hand dealer" means and b) it is possible that someone who doesn't know could misinterpret it horribly. Yes, it's not such a problem in my journal even though OWY1U is down because I have a glossary, but it is a problem in other communities unless I ( ... )
