I am NEVER going to finish all of my creative vortexes. Which means I'll never be able to focus. :(

I take it that the creative vortexes distract you a LOT from what you should be doing, like schoolwork and such. :(

Yep. And I can't finish them faster than I come up with them, so it's only going to get worse. :(

Have you ever considered doing an initial diagram or outline of your vortexes, then setting them aside until you have time to work on them? I have found that if I get something laid out, I can walk away without worrying about when I can finish it, because I know it will still be there, waiting for me and so I don't have to devote mental resources to keeping it in the forefront of my mind. Obviously, though this works reasonably well for me, your mileage may vary.

I already have a text file with a list of my creative vortexes (and some other things I want to do if I ever get the time), and I have several files for specific creative vortexes - for instance, the main file has just "finish userpics" as an entry, but I also have a file with a list of all the userpics I was planning on making the last time I updated the list (which was months ago, because in order to occasionally have the time to work on my creative vortexes, I have to not update the files very often). But that doesn't help much...

Hopefully, at some point I'll finally have enough time to finish the program I've been working on that'll schedule everything for me based on due dates and stuff, and then that'll make it much easier to finish. But since classes are about to start, I'm not going to have just that program done until at least June 2013. :(
