Well, you know the little icon next to LJ users' usernames? Someone there had suggested making it customizable because the current one suggests a white male, and people didn't like their idea. Then I suggested (this was the comment I deleted later) at least giving them generic male and female hairstyles so I wouldn't have to go to a user's profile just to figure out whether to say "he" or "she". Cue arguments.
