What a brilliant idea for a fic. I love fics about the minor characters and this was so good. :)

Very different to other Cassie fic I've seen, but I really enjoyed it.

Brilliant! I struggled a bit with her calling Janet by her name, but in the end, I could consider it coping mechanism of sorts. I mean, she did call her Janet in "Rites of Passage", of course, during the rebellion.

But any time I see someone take the tragedies (or at least difficulties, struggles, etc.) in their life and turn them around to help others get through the same thing...definitely, as Martha Stewart would say..."A *good* thing".

So. Well done.

Ooh, this was really good. It really fleshed Cassie out, made her seem like a fuller person, and I love that she became grief counselor because of the things she'd been through. It's a perfect progression in her story.

Oh, this is brilliant. So realistic and I love what your Cassie turned out to be + the mention of the alternate universes. Really liked it!
