I loved your Wooyoung a lot. He's not always a) a bright ball of sunshine or b) depressed, and sometimes I don't think people realize that.

"Nothing," Chansung whispered. "The sun probably never even noticed Icarus."

I have to say, much thanks to essyllus for helping me hammer out the character details. Without her, I think my WY would have fallen into one of the cases you mentioned. He is a tricky one, that boy...

;___________; I love how brief and short this piece is but at the same time, how big the impact this piece has on a reader like me. It's really short but it's straight to the point, imo, and I really like this and I feel like Chansung's actually Icarus and Wooyoung's the sun :'(

Ah, this is good to hear! I haven't been able to write anything -1000 words with confidence lately, so I'm glad it managed to carry the impact I was aiming for!

this is such a gorgeous scene, idek. it's really melancholy, but it's not sad in that in-your-face kind of way. and right here,

He stared off into the darkening horizon. The night chill fell on his shoulders.

i love how the settings sort of change to fit the feel of the story. really, really beautiful. ♥

OH MY GOD I don't know how you managed to get across so much emotion while being explicit about NONE OF THEM, but you did! Wtf, this is so nice. ;__; Every line where you describe Chansung holding onto Wooyoung I just found totally warming (because it's Chansung) but anxious at the same time (because of the tone and story). I can totally see Chansung holding tightly onto Wooyoung and pressing his face into Wooyoung's neck and Wooyoung just talking casually. :') And just the line where Wooyoung asks if Chansung knows about Icarus, idk, I really liked that, how Wooyoung just came out with it.

And this! Omg! Wooyoung leaned forward against Chansung's restraining arms, pressing their combined weights against the thin railing between safety and a two-story free fall. He faced the burning sunset without so much as a squint at the blinding light. So gorgeous!! I loved this. ♥
