"Person of Interest" -- really getting interesting

I started watching Person of Interest (yay, People's Choice Award for Best New Drama!) initially because Jim Caviezal, one of the *NON*-embarrassing Catholic actors in Hollywood (I'm looking at *you*, Mel Gibson and Charlie Sheen...), plays one of the main characters, but there are so many reasons why I am an ardent fan of it now: J.J. I feel sorry for Charlie Sheen, myself. I think the media has really exploited his addiction and mental health issues. Yes, he's done some horrid things, but I think that he really isn't in his right mind.
His father, Martin, is a very strong Catholic and said that he used to be just like Charlie (he said he wasn't sober for most of the time when filming "Apocalypse Now", for example, but neither was most of the cast..) and so it breaks his heart to see this.
