Interesting like they go away pretty much with a war crime. And nobody cares but they can just throw a person in jail if they have an unpaid parking ticket.

As a longterm thing, this event can be seen today as "groundbreaking". Because it is a war whose consequences can still be observed very obviously, but committed without the backup of the United Nations and still there has been nobody held accountable for the lies they've started it with.
So it has been proven that you can start a war under whatever star and no-one needs the okay of the UN, neither can it do anything against it. - Leaving the post-WWII-order actually obsolete through that.

Agree, UN is just a joke and the whole thing is above the law as long as it serves the interests.

USA was particularly earning on nearly all last centuries wars, not the USA alone of course - all countries which could are willingly investing in others suffering… For example, the war Iraq-Iran - not only USA but many others were selling weaponry to conflicting countries, USSR as well. This makes me think that all wars are just pure little covered business for some and incredible disaster and devastation for others.
The war USA-Iraq has one difference to previous wars where USA were dividing sides, selling one or all possible sides weaponry in credit and was waiting to a moment the sides of artificially made conflict will get enough weak to win them all to get maximum profit, so again the main difference in USA-Iraq war was that to all above USA has decided to pump Iraqi oil for free…after it decided to pump the Syrian oil as well and to try make oil line to EU… so, the new conflict we had and still have…

Iraq-Iran war, as far as known to me, was meant as a prelude to the first Afghanistan war from the side of the US.

I couldn't think of any of USA wars as one side something...
At those Iraq-Iran war USA and USSR had made huge money... but USSR had left the region and USA was not only making money and weakening the region players but was preparing to control whole region totally in future...
Take the destroying of Yugoslavia, rescue operation for Muslim radicals? No, Americans were destroying one after another former USSR allies to force them into NATO, hence against Russia in future high profit for Americans world war at Europe...
