Do you have tanks riding around? But seriously I read that Germany lately spends huge amount on military budget. Although, as all the rest.

Not necessarily, but it's a "fun fact" to know, on the other hand also a serious fact that one should know. A tank, in general, is like the only vehicle which you're not going to notice when it is set to drive backwards by the driver, and, at the same time, the driver can't see if anybody's behind him.
So, a general safety rule is: Never stand behind a tank! Nobody's gonna see you, nobody's gonna hear you and this thing has no trouble running you over. This goes for civilians as well as members of the military.
