As a witch, being able to motivate myself over the years of working alone has been a constant challenge. It's a little hard to convince myself sometimes that I really need to devote the time, effort and energy to celebrations since I'm the only one participating 98.6% of the time. I have that problem too. Especially when it comes to big project like my website ... the magazine ... my novel ... etc (my sewing pile just keeps growing and growing). The worst for me is 'checking email'. I open the email program ... check the forums, LJ, and before I know it over an hour has passed with nothing to show for it.

NaNo is really helping to get me more structured on the writing end (I also write long hand to limit my computer time) ... I hope to finish my novel this year (at long last).
