If it's oak I'm especially interested. Do you remember the type of oak?

It is what we call "swamp oak" around here. They can withstand having their feet in water for extended periods of time.

Round lobes on the leaves then (like my icon)? Or pointed lobes close together?

Rounded lobes. Hang on a minute and I'll see if I can find a leaf out there.

:-) I don't need a picture, Mattie. Do you have a paypal account so this can get to you in time for Tim?

Believe it or not, the mail would be easier this time. Our bank account is a mess at the moment so I can't transfer funds into there and actually get them. (long story short- Tim wrote a bad check by accident and it kept bouncing through there).

Got the check today, so I'll ship tomorrow to you, Droops. PJ, yours should be ready in a few more days. I'm still not entirely happy with the inside of the bowl.

Let's try this again. I will be shipping tomorrow, gods willing. I got rushed out the damned door again and am lucky I remembered my purse.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I will ship tomorrow morning or Monday.

Monday it is. I woke up late for me, then we had to deal with getting some stuff hauled off (YAY! Less junk!). Then I decided to work on the finishing of PJ's bowl, and it is now curing out on the rail (photos shortly) next to the bowl I made today.

Five hours of carving time on this bowl. I think it came out breathtaking.
