I haven't really written in a couple of months. One would think, that working from home, I'd have plenty of time to set aside and scribble some entries but that has clearly not been the case.  So yeah ... we were officially sent to 'work from home' back in late March/early April (truthfully, it feels like it was 100 years ago, so I can't remember ( Read more... )

I've been thinking a lot about Sims! I played Sims2 up until about 6 months ago... it keeps crashing the hard drives on my laptops but I love it so much I didn't want to let it go. I have Sims 4 somewhere and I tried to play it for a little bit but it just seemed so much more complicated than Sims 2 so I gave up. Maybe I need to go back and try to get into a groove with it. Right now I'm playing Animal Crossing as an escape from all the craziness in life but pretty soon I'm going to run out of new stuff to do in the game.

Originally I thought the same about SIMS4 (too complicated) and it took 3-4 tries at it before I finally fell in love with it. What helped a lot was watching YouTube videos on how to do things (and using cheats of course!). The one thing I greatly dislike about SIMS 4 is the lack of world building/expanding. In SIMS3 you could add plots (as many as you could fit) and literally build your own little world. In SIMS 4 there are just those set of lots and thats it. Yes, you can bulldoze and build new things, but you can't add more lots. Other than that, I have really been enjoying it (:

I am glad I don't have a Switch or I'd live Animal Crossing LOL ... Everyone on my twitter feed plays that right now and it's so damn cute it makes me want to get a Switch but then I remind myself, I can only obsess over 1.5 games :D LOL

Yeah, distractions from the world are so needed these days!
