Today I spent a good chunk of the day doing "real" cleaning of my room. I got rid of a lot of stuff for either donation or just to toss out. I also gathered three boxes worth of books that just don't fit in my bookcase anymore. It'll suck to lose all these books, but I just don't have the space.

Having moved 4 (5?) times in the past 8 years, I'm proud to say that am I book free (except for one or two that hold special meaning). They just got to bulky and cumbersome to move.

It's so strange that libraries won't take them. Is there a used book store you could take them to receive credit?

Are you on BookMooch and/or Paperback Swap? You could trade those books for more books.... Of course that won't help much if the idea is to clear some space :)

When I moved, the worst part was sorting through my books :( I left so many at home.

As much as I love having an actual book, the amount of space it takes really makes me appreciate the new world of ebooks so, so much more :)
