I completely understand. Life happens, and burnouts are inevitable. :(
I know this has been discussed before, but I really do think moving the Harbingers to a more active server would improve things; more new blood, for one. I know we all love TB, but there's a fact that has to be faced: even the Kodo rarely has more than ten people present, these days, or at least that was the case the last time one of my toons attended. There are a few core players left on TB--awesome core players--and a handful of cliques that frequently contain the people we've all had drama with and tend to side-eye and walk away from. I rarely see RP flags belonging to people I don't recognize when I play there.
I realize that a guild transfer means money, and that's a serious issue for many of us, myself included. It's something to consider, though.
It's something I've kept in mind, but the fact of the matter is that I do not have the money to transfer the guild OR the few toons I have left on TB. I don't know if I'm going to have that money by the time MoP rolls around, either (and the only reason I will be able to buy MoP in the first place is because the ever-sweet Alyzande, who I do e-mail work for, has given me the money for it). Once my subscription is up in December I will most likely be letting it lapse for a while.
It's still an option that's on the table. I don't have the inclination to do further research right now, unfortunately, and the server that I was eyeballing seems to have lost its website (earthen ring's webmaster gave up, which sucks but is understandable).
We'll see what happens. But yeah, not shooting you down, it's def. still a thought.
I got a message from ... one of the servers I checked out, I thought it was ER? That the mod was stepping down. Or maybe it was CC. I don't know, I don't remember, I haven't had a hell of a lot of time and so much has happened since then that I don't remember. I created an account on one of the sites buuut I don't seem to have one on ER so I don't know.
It never occurred to me to post to the guild forums since more folks see this than the forums but if I get a chance I will. Turns out my main two accounts expire in a couple days, not december, sooo yeah
