Incredibly happy for you, and here's to all going well! And, as a Portlander (and an applied mathematician, thence an applied, applied mathematician), I'm a fan of warm, wet beverages, and boxen.

I am amazingly trusting of strangers. Their kindness has saved me, time and time again, and besides, my biological family has done so much to me that strangers really can't do anything worse. ;)

When I know the dates of my time in Oregon, I shall post and if you have time, I'd love to have a cup of tea and meet you.

I´m happy to read this! And let´s hope German Socialized Medicine will be helpful also for getting better once you are here.. for me it certainly is! (for one, they discovered that I was gluten intolerant, which the doctors in Italy never managed.. and since I keep to the gluten free diet, my Crohn´s is about 100000% better!)

Na, kann nicht schlechter sein! :P Mit Glück wird es mir besser gehn. Christian gibt sich gerade große Mühe alles so viel leichter wie möglich für mich zu machen. Echt ein super Junge. Ich hab ihn arg gern. ;)
