Academic Awards Night

For the viewers at home who are keeping track of my merit accumulation in the points system, last night was academic awards night. I got Excellence in Instrumental Music - Band, for which I give myself one unit. So I have 29 lifetime, and need 7 more for the 1000-point period that starts May 26th and ends September 30th to count towards the 10,000

What kind of space will the 10,000 points buy you?

Just all the space in the world that I and my existence take up. Because if I don't earn it, then it will be entirely wasted on me, my existence will not have been validated or justified, and I will be taking without giving back; I will be a parasite and I'll know it and it will feel awful.

I subscribe to a very similar concept, but I only get points for functional, original ideas. (So far at zero, but working on changing that.)
