[RL with Morrigan]

[Greed's not a complete idiot, not all the time; he does know that Morrigan's only bringing herself, and while she's hardly a disappointment by any standard, it will give him the grounds to pretend to have been expecting two attractive, athletic, spunky girls, and thus to insist she make it up to him ( Read more... )

[ if only Greed knew Morrigan better. of course she said that she was bringing someone to meet him, and that's what she intended to do! she didn't lie to him at all, even if she had really wanted to be the one to fight him - if that would even really happen.

who did actually show up at the Devil's Nest was another girl. she was frail and pretty short; probably nothing that Greed had thought would shop up and not like Morrigan at all. she had a blank stare even though she was frightened to even be there as she came inside to sit and wait. ]

[As the casual chatter at the entryway hushed up at their entrance, Greed, from the center of the bar, stopped short in the middle of riotous laughter, utterly forgetting what was so funny as well as what the conversation was even about. The attention from the peanut gallery was more than likely positive; while hardly a normal feature in Amestris or even Dublith, the Devil's Nest was filled with not-quite human patrons, some more obvious than others, horn-like lumps beneath the skin, unusual face shapes, snouts, jagged teeth, clawed hands, or tails. [ there's an anger literally raging from Morrigan. the blond just looks up at Greed, face flushed as she tries to move away from him, though at the same time, she tries to stay close to Morrigan.

finally, Morrigan glances to Greed. completely ignoring the other girl ]

I'll just have wine, if there even is any.

[Greed isn't completely insensitive to his guests moods so much as he's completely unconcerned with them. A hand on the shoulder goes to an arm around the shoulder, insistently trying to keep each one close, grinning broadly, smug enough to be stifling.] If there is any she says... This's a bar, baby, we got wine flowing like a river here! Oi! The lady'll have a Pinot Noir! And, [Greed takes the opportunity to lean in face to face with the blond; he likes it when they blush, it makes him want to pick on somebody even more. The invasion of space can be a little unnerving even for those who aren't perpetually shy.] for you?
