when you get orthodontic work done, many times they remove some teeth, right? Canines are some of the commonest teeth that are extracted; I've known many people who've had all four canines extracted ( Read more... )

no really, rhetorical questions, o_o, vampires without fangs, i don't even know, the meaning of life

...........hmmm...i've never heard of canine's being removed tbh :s i thought premolars were the most common :s......

i guess since their teeth fundamentally change to be vampiric anyways, they'd grow the new vampire teeth??

i think it's the canines and bicuspids, depending on.... factors.. >> i've known quite a few people who had all 4 canines removed!

i guess... BUT. IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE THE CANINES THAT ELONGATE. no other teeth are as sexy. :(

well. it's not like we use them for sucking out blood, or anything... >>

BUT IT'S JUST SUPPOSED TO ELONGATE, NOT CHANGE TYPE

Far be it from me to question your knowledge of your own teeth but... are you *sure* about the canines? I've never heard of anyone who had their canines extracted.

As for the vampires, maybe some other teeth grow into fangs? Whatever is at the right place? Or maybe they are vampires with a disability. Dentally-challenged vampires. There'll be self-help books ("How to feed with asymmetrical fangs." AND "My left fang." AND "Fangless in Seattle. An autobiography.") and special support groups for them, and the other vampires at school will get told off for teasing them.

You should write it.

iajsdfa yeah! my mom had all 4 canines extracted too. ^^ i have always wondered about the vampire thing alskjd.

i. guess so... maybe. >> it just seems strange though. i mean. bicuspids can't make as effective fangs as the canines can... but lol at the self-help books akjflksja you have the best titling skillz evar. XDDDDDDDDD poor vampires at school though. :( :( :(

dead, what.

Dude, there's a dorama plot right there. You'd be an angsty vampire with ~issues~ because of your vampire-inappropriate teeth and therefore there are conflicts with other vampires and stuff.

i might have to go to a therapist to get over my issues and be told that i'm beautiful and no less of a predator regardless of my missing teeth....

lkasjflkjlakjaa laughing so hard, you and solo are both cracking me up like crazy lklavjakljf HAHAHAHAHAHA

What do you mean, therapist? You need a mysterious vampire lord who is prickly and mean on the surface but has a heart of... extra good blood and a secret trauma about prematurely greying hair. And you will heal each other.

(I want to add 'who makes dorama about therapists', but now I'm imagining In Treatment episodes where Gabriel Byrne treats a teeth-challenged vampire... It has a certain appeal.)
