Hey, I didn't want to say this on fatshionista since it'll start insane wank, I just thought it might be good food for thought for you about your blog. If you approached me on the street and told me about the project, I would be doubtful. I would probably not let you take my picture, because you are not fat. I'm sorry if that's the way you see yourself, but to me you look more like the people who've mocked me about my size than someone who knows the same pain. When I heard about the blog, I pictured the creator as being a fat person-I got jolted out of my assumption. I still think you can succeed though-good luck with your venture!
Thank you for your thoughts! I totally understand not wanting to mention it on fats. I've thought about the same problem, and I understand that some people will be apprehensive. All I can do is try to explain my position, you know? I'd appreciate any feedback you might have on what, if anything, would make you more comfortable being approached by someone my size for a proect like this.
