Today the package finally came in the mail! It was a copy of the book "Mousetraps" by Pat Schmatz with a very sweet note from her, and even my name mentioned in the acknowledgements. Did you hang on to any copies of your artwork for this work?

Interesting to read of your artistic projects. I'm always in awe of this sort of thing, it is so completely outside my own experience (lacking any artistic talent of my own).

yes, i still have the drawings. I would be happy to pull them out for old times sake, for what it's worth. All my comics are pretty much hiding in boxes, having had nothing much done with them (not that i've ever been particularly prolific, mind you).

i don't know, though, save your awe until after you see the evidence . . .

yeah, i miss margot too. I feel like i never really brought her back into my life after my computer crashed last march(!). Ugh, i need to find some way to make a teensy little bit of space for her in between statistics problems!
