Where I come from in Canada, there are many hotsprings (Banff, Canyon Hot Springs, Ainsworth Hot Springs - all places I have been to) and they are huge tourist places. There was...I think a small earthquake once in the 70s or 80s that really impacted the hotsprings in Banff - they had to use hot tap water to heat the springs to their normal temperature because the hot spring water had been diverted. Another earthquake happened and it re-diverted the water course back so they stopped using the tap water. *laughs* It did make them realise how vulnerable they are to that sort of thing there, so I think they now have plans in place for if it happens again. They're tourist areas so are limited in what they can do, but if they lost the hotsprings altogether, it would be really awful for the area...
Thank you :D That hot spring in the cave looks interesting, ours are mostly used as public baths instead of pool. A few years ago one of the hot spring area was almost out of the water that they poured lots of normal hot water that they were sort of punished later.):
I'm surprised about movie theatres here. I haven't been to one in Tokyo yet, so I'm not sure how different it is, but in Niigata, they were almost always empty.
I mean, I usually went to the late shows, after 8:30pm, so maybe that had something to do with it. But even the one show I went to on Sunday afternoon only had 30 or so (for Happy Feet). That was the biggest audience ever.
When I went to see Kurosagi with my co-worker, it was just the two of us and one other woman.
When I saw Marie Antoinette, it was me, my friend, and one other guy.
Always like that. I don't understand how they can make money. Or does everyone just go to early shows? The movie culture here seems very different from the US, from my experience.
We must not be such sensitive as the tiny earthquake happens quite usually. I watched Kurosagi last week and I was just with two boys, but at the famous huge theater when the movie has just released there is usually full of people. Maybe people watch on the first day at the famous theater? And I used to watch minor movies for a few small theaters that there were lots of people because only a few theater showed them. Recently it is said that the BUBBLE of national movies has already broken....
Ah, sorry! Just my schedule was confirmed and there will be no time between two tasks on this Sunday. D: The other Sundays will be sometimes free that if you will need to visit the central area let me know. :D
thanks for the tranlation ^^ :O he has a lot of music.. ^^ and.. earthquakes?? the last time that we have an earthquake.. a lot of ppl die over here T-T.. so I think we r not prepared.. so I wouldn't like another one! ._.
I think I've heard about the earthquake there! It must be impossible to avoid or escape from earthquakes and the capital area will be broken, but somehow I have to live on this earth.^^; Be careful and pray for not to have it! *hugs*

And are you free Sunday at some point? I have a very tiny little token from Singapore for you that I think you'll find amusing. ;)
