unclephil2k and I went to see "March of the Penguins" and much to my surprise, Phil actually enjoyed the movie. I loved it. It was breathtakingly beautiful and a real treat for an Antarctica buff like me. The soundtrack was nice too but

When surveying a few friends, it was pretty much unanimously conceded that fat baby penguins are cute beyond fairness.
And yeah, Morgan Freeman really is kind of the awesome.

I feel sorry for the soul that doesn't find baby penguins unfairly cute. That person lives a sad life.

Ray Bradbury's "A Sound of Thunder" comes out this fall...

I'm so excited about that. It looks gorgeous, and Bradbury is a part of my childhood. Add to that Corpse Bride and the Wallace and Gromit movie: Curse of the Wererabbit and I am a happy camper.

Oh, and Pride and Prejudice. So there are some good other movies coming out this year.

at work for something to play with (or, more to the point, stare at) when i get bored, i have a little shawn the sheep file on my computer i click on and he runs around my comuter desktop, eating daisies, getting abducted by aliens, peeing on stuff, it's great!

I can't believe I forgot about Corpse Bride and Wallace and Gromit! Shame on me. I didn't even know that Sound of Thunder was coming out so soon. I'm a huge Bradbury fan. He's pretty much my favorite author.

I need to read Pride and Prejudice. I think I own it.
