So, Jean-Pierre is here because some equipment he tested and installed yesterday apparently almost caught fire. Which would have made the hospital stop. So they told him to take today off while they investigated if it was faulty hardware that he didn't catch or test right or if it tested fine but didn't last once put into live use or some other

He'll be okay once they figure out what happened. I don't think they'll fire him over it. A server went down, not the server farm. So it's going to be okay.

Yes it did. Never fails to. :) I don't think they would have fired him even if it had been his error because it was caught before it went up in flames and set off the fire suppression system. He would have just gotten a stern warning. Thank you for caring. :)
