Where are you all, darlings? :D Come on, slasherati! We've got Colin/Justin on next week and it doesn't get much better than that (except for Rade whose Celeb Masterchef experience has peaked this week with the appearance of blonde bombshell, Tim Lurve-joy XD)

This week we've had: Tim Lovejoy, Aggie MacKenzie, Margi Clarke and Shobu Kapoor.Monday ( Read more... )

Haha, thanks for the mention! :D However, Cola dear, it does get better for me, as I'm definitely looking forward to watching Colin and Justin (they might be my favourite interior designers, what of it? ...and Colin's pretty hot too, and as they're gay, we don't need to worry about slashing them..!) XD

*clears throat* Tim was very good, wasn't he? Apart from the invention tests, so I'm told...

Oh, YES :D What could be better? On the end of Friday's daytime show there was a preview - I'm about to mention it on my slash post - Colin says something to John/Gregg next week along the lines of 'It's like cooking for my boyfriend and we haven't even kissed yet!' and J/G just look at one another XD

THREESOME FIC. THREESOME FIC. THREESOME FIC.

Ahem. I'm partial to Justin myself, so we won't step on one another's toes *laughs heartily*

Tim was very good. And lovely too... He isn't my idea of a heart-throb, but he has a very likeable quality to him. I like him with Simon on Something for the Weekend; apparently Tim sends pictures of what he's cooked across to Simon on his mobile phone... Aww! Tim was on gushing about John and Gregg this morn - but I missed it - my dad told me. Will have to catch it on the iPlayer.

Apologies. I should have said: FOURSOME FIC. FOURSOME FIC. FOURSOME FIC.

I know, right? When I watched it on Friday at the beginning and it showed who was on it,I spotted Colin and I was like "Oh my days, was that Colin?" then I saw Justin later on and I was like "OH MY GOD COLIN AND JUSTIN ARE DOING MASTERCHEF!!" I then went and told my mum, who was like "What, together? Can't they do anything separately?" XD Awwww *squishes Colin* That's so cute! And I can imagine him saying that too...

DOOOOO IIIIIIT XD Or better still, what you suggested below! (If you don't, I probably will, I've been wanting to write about Colin and Justin for ages, but never got around to it...) XD*high fives* I liked Justin (after Colin went out, didn't see before then) when they both did I'm A Celebrity... (I don't watch it, just other people in my year were, so I saw bits of it), but from actually watching the two of them on 60 Minute Makeover and other things, I've decided that I think I prefer Colin XD But seriously though, the two of them are so cute together! They tweeted about Masterchef last night (I can't remember what ( ... )

It's been BIZARRELY competent this week! Beyond ravioli-gate (I mean, on that first day I expected everything to be complete disaster), there was only really Shobu... Shobu full stop, to be honest... but particularly Shobu getting her vegetable curry out fifteen minutes late to the ambulance people that really caused a problem ( ... )

Ah, alas I didn't see Shobu's disaster really... :S

I liked Margi, I thought she should have stayed in, even though her thing for the WI was a little bit disastrous really... Haha, I know, I can't really cook to save my life (beans on toast and a burnt cake, anyone..? lol), but i'm sure we could manage to persuade them somehow... *winks*

Aggie... annoyed me... I mean, she got taken off her station in the Thai restaurant, and she did have some problems with the meal for the WI too... :S I think she should have gone... But then, perhaps she was the better cook out of her and Margi, I'm not sure... *shrugs*

Tim was really good. I think he's best when he's been told/shown what he needs to do, as opposed to him thinking up things himself (though his meal for the WI looked really nice)... But yes, you do have a point there XD

Shame they don't put a BIT more of the earlier days in the catch-up because they really are very entertaining. Plus, Aggie was a lot better in the earlier bit of the competition and she had such bad luck later on, whereas the others got stronger. And Shobu was just a car crash XD But you don't really see that progression in the catch-ups as much; they could be SO much better edited :/

Oh bless Aggie *ducks from Rade's tomatoes* She was like a lovely old Scottish aunt (not that I have any, lol) Margi was some of the best comic relief I have seen on the show - possibly since that man off Holby told that chef to 'stick it up his arse' that one time.

Tim thinks things up for himself alright... Cooking everything on the bench is a recipe - albeit not a good one XD

Yeah, it is really, I would have liked to have seen more of the earlier challenges XD Was she? Ah, well fair enough. :S

Haha, I might not like tomatoes, but that doesn't mean I'd use them as ammunition, lol :) I think she just annoyed me in general, really. ...the man off Holby? *wonders who that might have been*

Haha, this is true. XD

The week in slash! cola_and_pimms September 25 2011, 19:42:18 UTC
Not much by the way of slash this week :/ Inspiration to fangirls everywhere, the wonderful Margi Clarke, brought some great smirks and glances out of John and Gregg... who seem to be more pally than EVER with each other this series. And yes, as shown in last week's preview, we did get John hiding from Margi's ravioli behind Gregg's shoulder. He SURE finds it comfortable there! :)

The best is yet to come... CLEARLY... from the look of next week's preview. AND, the people who edit these previews are deffo playing up to the slashers, for they include the slashiest bits! Colin, of Colin and Justin fame, says to J/G that cooking for them is like cooking for a new boyfriend... and they haven't even kissed yet! *coughs* We need that problem to be REMEDIED by the end of next week, don't we people?

That merely bolsters Gregg's theory... Well, in what he tweeted last week:

G: It's official (John) has confirmed that I am by far the more attractive one in this double act.

Other person: attractive to what, wild animals, women, gay men, dogs? ( ... )

Haha, John was hiding from Margi's ravioli?! It was that bad?!

...I think Colin officially just broke my cute-o-meter (even though it pretty much only exists for him and Justin) *squishes* XD

Hahaha, I think that whole exchange amused me too much (and because of my evil cackle, I got asked about it) XD Ooh, yes, that could be something to get plot bunnies started... *thinks*

I can hardly wait to watch today's ep (still on the recorder for tonight) and see what Colin meant by that!

And as for John hiding from Margi's ravioli... I HAD to make a GIF - it's such an adorable moment, I didn't take much convincing ;) Watch as John makes himself comfortable on Gregg's shoulder (as per usual!)

I'm quite looking forward to seeing that at some point too :) (If I'm ~squeeing about it already, what am I going to be like when I actually see it, lol?)

Haha, that GIF is priceless! John you legend XD
