I got a nice pair similar to the ones I have now but in black, and I got a pair like Buddy Holly. So you better plan your trip to Japan whenever. Classes end in the next few weeks, but they start back up in early to mid April. You might want to come to Japan near the end of April, which will give you a couple weeks after your trip ends to get ready for the Corps.

Here's my advice to you.

- don't get killed. If someone tries to get you killed, salute but don't let him, or kill him first. The first generally works better if they're on your side, the second if he's not. Remember, violence never solved anything, but like cold medicine, it works well on the symptoms.

- don't do stupid shit like those suck-ass Army reservists abusing prisoners.

- don't do anything Boris would do. In fact, if you can't see yourself explaining it to your dad, don't do it at all. "She seemed cute at the time" and "it was him or me" is okay, "putting that dog collar on him seemed funny at the time" isn't unless he's drunk and also a Marine.

- if something offers you some bizarre food, eat it. The insurgents wouldn't poison you, they'd blow you up, so don't miss the chance to eat strange crap.

Don't die man. If you die, I'm totally killing off Boris in a lame way and then stealing your video games. Hmmm....actually, that doesn't sound so bad. When do you deploy outside of effective range?
