Finished Suikoden Tierkreis!
I think that's the first time I was unable to stop playing a game until I had finished it since... SMT: Nocturne? That was in 2004. lol, sometimes I wonder if I secretly fail at gaming ( Read more... )

I remember playing Pokemon Ruby/Saphire on the GBA back in...2004 or something, and when I got to the Elite Four I just couldn't succeed to beat them. I tried again and again but I kept losing. After trying like 25 times I finally gave up and I kinda tossed the game in a corner XD
I haven't played it ever since, I have a game trauma I think :P Nowadays I only play the Sims 2, at least you can't lose that game, lol!

A really strong enemy can be really annoying! Especially when the difficulty curve picks up all of a sudden without warning.

I love The Sims, but I only build houses all the time XD

Lol, me too! First, I do a cheat, so I have a loooot of money (ooh, bad me XD), and then I start to build a very big house with hideous wallpapers and tapestry! And of course I let aliens abduct my Sims *g*

I can't even imagine playing Sims without the money cheat! XD
I always had a thing for building stuff.

I'm entertained by my Sims for maybe 10 minutes and then they have a habit of dying >_>

I was actually just going on to one of my friends the other day about how I somehow manage to be a slacker when it comes to video games, which is deliciously ironic.

Currently, I'm half-way through Final Fantasy and showing no signs of ever completing it at this point, despite the fact that I worked so hard to level up to where I am at and was really into it when I started. Not to mention, you know, starting a new EarthBound file for the umpteenth time and abandoning it yet again before I even make it out of the first town. XD; I am soooo guilty of failing at gaming...

Which Final Fantasy? Maybe I can encourage you to play it again (or tell you it's not worth the time, lol XD)

I hate losing interest after a level grinding session! I had that recently in SMT: Digital Devil Saga, even though I am at the last boss D:

The first one. Like, I've revived two of the orbs and just sort of... gave up after going through Bahamut's challenge or whatever to get my class change. I was sort of over-leveled for it, too, which made it kind of wtf easy and I was a little disappointed. I had this big idea in my head that, since I only have peripheral knowledge of the games in the series/franchise/whatever that I should at least play through a few of them. (The only other one I've ever played at all is 7, and even then I never made it through disc one. lol I blame it on being totally intimidated by the materia system which I still sort of am; I'm no good at things like that - which is why I suck at Pokemon ( ... )

I haven't finished that one either, I think >_>
(The Materia thing is easy, people just make it sound horribly complicated, imo! I know you can do fancy combos with it, but I managed the game without that XD)

10 is kind of... meh. If you have the chance (and the emulator lol) you should give 9 a try. 8 is one of my favorites, but only because it was my first Final fantasy. That game has a lot of problems 8D
