Fontage

this intrigues me. (Not that I ever used any of those fonts)Actually, I change fonts quite often, but I have a love of sans-serif. I also like Terminal, just because I think programming fonts are pleasant. My default font is Nimbus Roman No9 L, an OpenOffice default. I don't like Times New Roman any more. Nimbus Roman is very clean, with slight ( Read more... )

I think it's "scott free". I am still trying to think of a situation in which I can use this to comic effect involving Scott. The situation has to be one involving getting away with things, and a lack of scott. But of course it won't be funny if I have to explain it.

I haven't had a courier phase yet, maybe I should :P

I've always gone with 10.5 for some reason. Maybe I just like the certainty that I've decided down to .5 of a pixel... defaulting to 12 is just ugly. When I'm asked for 12 on essays I always use 11 just to spite them. Also 1.5 spacing instead on double, because double just looks ragged and ugly.

Pedantic? Me?

WORDY MCWORD. Except when my professors insist, I always go 1.5 spacing. And I refuse to go above 11 pt font, again, unless it's insisted upon. Ugh.

I was playing with Courier... you're right, it is indeed nice. I found I have a variant called Courier 10 Pitch, which is a little heavier and a little taller... I rather like it.

OK I am going to do an experiment. I suck at English creative pieces. So I am going to put my latest attempt in Georgia font and see what happens when I hand it in today.
