With how the Catalyst keeps harping on how synthetics will always destroy organics, let's see what happens when the Reapers meet a race that completely torpedoes this premise: organics that completely destroy synthetics without ever needing to touch technology. Something like:

- the Yuuzhan Vong from Star Wars
- the Zerg from Starcraft
- the Bugs from Starship Troopers
- the Flood (bonus points for them since they're an organic species that can corrupt AIs and travel across galaxies like it's going out of style)

Gotta admit, hoping for the Starship Troopers one. Arthropods, man, they can do it all. But the Zerg would be great too.

Why is there no mom Miranda fics save for one which I found (and was excellent). I would love to see the "Cerberus Cheerleader" in a mom role. Significant other is up to you, but I won't lie, I kinda prefer M!Shepard as Miranda's love interest. Just leave it to me to always love rarepairs :P

There are probably so few Miranda as a mom fics because Miranda is sterile outside of headcanon territory. Although I like the disturbing one that's been proposed about Miranda only being sterile when coupling with non-Lawsons...

Interesting theory, it really does sound plausible. Not sure I'd incorporate it into my headcanon, but still... I'd read about it.
