No one knows why exactly Garrus Vakarian snapped, just that he did. Something he saw, maybe - too many dead friends, watching Palaven burn, his sister dying, any number of things. After he went rogue the bounty on his head kept climbing but when the body count got a bit steep even for the Council, they recruited Shepard. “He is your responsibility, Commander.” That’s what they said when she refused. “He learned from you.” Shepard keeps hearing these words as she looks down at the bloody young turian beneath her, slowly coming around: He learned from her ( ... )
