Since some people have already started access to multiplayer in the EA/Origin Access Play First Trial, how about another gamertag sharing session for multiplayer meetups

I decided to create an LJ Mass Effect Discord server to possibly make it a little easier for people to find people to play with or to chat in real time.

Don't know what Discord is? It's a free text-based instant messaging and voice chat interface all in one, and can be accessed via a browser ( www dot discordapp dot com) or an app installed on your PC, Android, or iOS device(s).

It'll be set up to tag people with their preferred platform, and I'll set up various hopefully self-explanatory sub-channels for people to use. We can also set up dedicated voice channels for use when playing MP if desired!

I accidentally put my tag in thinking it was the login screen, then realized my mistake, logged in with my actual account, and now there are two of me sitting in the server lol. Ooops! The good one is the one with an avatar.

Dumb question: if I change my nickname in this Discord server, will it affect my name in other Discord servers?

It will not!

The /nick is a server-specific nickname, where 'server' is defined as the LJ Mass Effect server and not any other ones you belong to.
