Maps & Enemies

A thread to discuss strategies, tips, or questions about particular multiplayer maps or against certain enemy types.

Is there a way to know where the enemies will spawn in the next wave? Is there a general pattern? I have found myself wandering around looking for them and the wave will be over by the time I find any.

It all depends on where people are positioned, but there are specific spawning points. Watch where the more experience players run off to and that might give you an idea. Usually they're setting up their sight-lines to target the spawning points

So if I'm wandering around in the wrong spot I'm messing up where they are spawning from?

I will definitely keep an eye on the other players. I always figured they are running around randomly like I am, but I'll pay more attention.

Troubleshooting & Known Problems

[Known Problems] Known problems:
- Modem/port setting recommendations
- Fixing the keybindings while playing a Talon Mercenary kit (PC-ONLY)
- Fix for the missing Thermal Packs for Talon Mercenaries- 'Missile glitch' (which can get a user banned)
- Firebase Rio may cause crashing (seems to be linked to characters doing heavy melee)
- Opponent 'stacking' (landing one atop the other), especially on Firebase Reactor, can cause opponents to become partially immune to damage. Recommendation is to use melee or untargeted AOE to 'unstick' them ( h/t skellington1 and sinvraal)
- The escort drone gets stuck in the environment. One recommendation is to have one of the escorting PCs die, and it may unstick. ( h/t skellington1 and insects- Classes may be

Dead glitches are no fun. Today got rezzed in a match and did the little "standing like a statue" thing until the wave ended. Then,from that one glitch, the rest of the match was glitched: no grenades would spawn at the ammo sites (at least not for me) and upon extraction where I was very much alive, I was counted as "dead" in the final round up. :P

If it was FB Jade, if you're in hard cover at the LZ when the clock hits zero, the game ignores your extraction.

Nope, it was Hydra and I wasn't in cover.

But I've never heard that glitch about Jade. That sucks. D:
