Mass Effect folder keeps deleting copied saves?

So, long story short, my last computer totally fried, so a friend is trying to help piggyback me into a NG+ by "importing" her saves (since we made a lot of the same decisions etc). Funny thing is, every single time I copy her character folder into my saves folder and run the game, the game deletes it. Why does this happen and how do I make it ( Read more... )

I think it might be Origin's cloud save feature. If you go into My Games and right-click ME3, there's a 'Show Game Details' option. Pick that, then go to the 'Cloud Storage' tab. Disable cloud saves if it's enabled, then try copying those saves over again.

I'd hazard a guess it's related to you and she having different EA/Bioware IDs, but that might be me. I'm not sure if the save files are editable for this purpose or not.

Pack 4 is Retaliation. It should be in your ME3 install folder, under BIOGame\DLC\DLC_CON_MP4
