I'm trying this spec at the moment. The nice thing about the Paladin is that R4 in Shield Mastery is basically R6 Fitness for every other class. So if you don't go the Cryo/Fire Shield route, you have 11 points to stick into powers and still get maxed health/shields. I tried setting up Fire/Cryo Explosions with the shield but didn't have a lot of success with it. It's really fun though, so I might spec into Cryo/Fire Shield again later.
I use Energy Drain and Incinerate situationally. I use Energy Drain for damage reduction, shield restoration, an AOE stun, or Tech Burst priming. I just use Incinerate for setting off Tech Bursts or if I really need a long range attack. Otherwise I'm using Snap Freeze.
I went to R6 in the Paladin weapon/power/weight skill for the 20% weight reduction. I'm using the Pirahna and the weight reduction bonuses bring me to 190% cooldown. If I switch to something lighter that can hit 200% without the weight bonuses, I'll put those 6 points somewhere else.
