They've been writing the scads of (and IMO the best) articles about ME3 and the ending kerfluffle since March. I just had to go through six or so I hadn't read, based on links from that first one. :)
After all the art and mythology of the modern age is becoming more an d more not just commercialised but corporatised so it is a legitimate area of business concern when a media customer base openly revolts over false advertising / failure to produce the product people were expecting. Of course, for the benefit of people outside the incident zone, Forbes need to get into the matter in depth.
Interesting! I think he perhaps put a bit more thought into it than Bioware did (I don't really think they would add an entirely new ending in and then go "See, all this Liara stuff now makes sense!"), but finally the endings are actually getting real, fun speculation. Rather than...what was before, cough.
As a sidenote, whether it was intentional or not, I like that the author went back and forth between male/female pronouns for Shepard. :)
Omg omg. Haven't finished reading yet, but I am just alskdjsla that they're referring to Shepard as "her". Had to do a double take! I thought my mind was playing tricks. Very awesome of you, Forbes! :3
Me too! Though he sometimes calls Shep "he" which makes me think it's because the premise of the article is largely Shepard to the future people = Liara, but I thiiiink he really means Shep when he says "she" most of the time.
