i didn't play Dead Space 2... is Isaac is no longer a silent protagonist, or is that a different guy talking?

What is it with EA and facebook & Twitter. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD.

SOCIAL MEDIA INTEGRATION. It's the buzz word in marketing these days. Even at my job they're having me work that stuff in as much as possible.

It's BS for those of us that couldn't care less. Mentioning that "this is happening NOW on twitter" or "get in on the fun on facebook" instead of something relevant and interesting is something I am so freaking tired of. I seriously can't wait until this particular fad passes.

Wait. ToR stuff.

It's not just you, as evilsherbear said, those of us anywhere near any kind of marketing or PR have to deal with higher-ups asking us to work ridiculous social marketing fads in everywhere -- and it usually makes no sense. I try my little bit of resistance, but they generally ignore me unless I can find someone else who's written my points in article format (which is how I won the "STOP PUTTING QR CODES ON EVERYTHING!" fight).

Presumably it'll blow over eventually and I'll have something new to complain about. ;)

I need to start playing again! I've been distracted the last couple months with other games.
