Help. Plz?

I'm having problems with Mass Effect 1 loading on one of my profiles. I made a video of what's going on, so if anyone knows what's going on I'd be a very happy girl.

I have the xbox version too and have not had this problem but I feel it might have something to do with you being able to choose your characters while in the mako. I was unaware this was even an option. How did you get to that screen from the mako?

Of course I could be totally wrong.

Also, is that Chasca? Did you have any trouble or glitches during the mission? Do you remember any problems before saving there?

This has never happened to me before, and I've played for a loooong time.

Yes, it is Chasca. I did have a glitch. Whenever I came out of one of the building and hopped into the Mako, I was ready to leave and went to 'return to the Normandy'. Then my screen went dark, but I could still barely see the Mako and when I pressed 'start' I could see the screen clearly. So I hit 'save' and turned it off hoping that when I played it again, I could. But this keeps happening. And it happens every time I try to load that game.

I'm currently playing now on my 5th play through so I was like, "How did she do that?" I would have felt mighty embarrassed if that had been an option I had been unaware of all this time.

Anyway, have you tried hitting any buttons before getting the character selection screen? I know you probably have but I have to ask anyway.

I do know that Mass Effect can permanently save glitches and therefore make the game unplayable after. The only one I've seen like that was the "walk on top of the Normandy" glitch. It sounds to me like your game has seriously confused itself.

I do know that my game has freezed in loading and I had to either wait it out or restart my game from the last save. I feel like you saved during that loading time, causing a glitch, and now your game has no clue what to do with itself.

Do you have a previous save you can revert to? Because this may be your only option if all else fails.
