Raphael Sbarge and Tricia Helfer have both confirmed that they're recording/have recorded more for ME3, so I'm cautiously optimistic. What speculation are you hearing that's making you nervous?

Some people were speculating about what the voicework might be on that sub-thread, and it would be more in theme with the grimdark ending than anything positive. :/

It's actually just straight up a screenshot from the game. Near the end of ME1, there's a moment preceding the final boss fight where Saren throws a grenade at you and there's a quick shot of a squadmate yelling and leaping away. Liara, Kaidan, and Ashley open their mouths really wide, and Garrus' face deforms. Wrex looks like he's having a blast, though. I don't have this shot of Tali, but I don't know if she'd look any different.

I'm surprised they're shelling out for VA for a free DLC... On the glass half full side, it could mean they really were spooked by the amount of bad press and are actually making a not insignificant investment in getting some goodwill back. Curious to see where it all goes.

Well, on the plus side its already better than my worst case scenario. I was expecting a slow montage of things with swelling trailer music. To get all the VAs back is indeed curious. Maybe we'll see some actual gameplay segment?
