When my friend, who doesn't read the comics, was raging about discussing EDI's cameltoe with me, he asked at one point "I mean, what was The Illusive Man planning to DO with that robot if she had a robovagina?"

And I was like "...You better sit down. I have things to tell you."

The joke was more that I was confirming that he was actually right in his joke, when he wasn't being serious. If...that makes any sense at all.

I think Eva was built to be the woman he couldn't have--the original Eva Coré, since she was dead/had been involved with Ben Hislop.

Or perhaps his indoctrination was starting to get him paranoid and he stopped allowing his personal escorts onto his station anymore? Eva would be the best at keeping a secret to the location of his base.
