Yeah I feel bad for all the ME2 romances that got shafted. Especially those who dared to love Jacob. That was a deep cut. :(

I was actually afraid of accidentally romancing him the first time I played (cuz I was in a relationship with my bb!Kaidan and it was my canon playthrough) and then when I played the second time I flirted with him so much I was like "OKAY WHY IS HE NOT PUTTING OUT" and I still got Kaidan romance anyway and I was all like :(

I did the tattoo scene with Vega before the Date with Kaidan my first time around, and I was SCARED TO DEATH I was going to screw up the Kaidanmance.

But I couldn't help myself. The flirting with Vega was too awesome.

(Now I'm just writing fic to compensate for the lack. La la la la la.)

Am I the only one who at first throught Vega was getting a massage on the tattoo scene? Yes?... okay....

I'm still disapointed that Joker didn't become an LI, though I am happy with the romance scenes given if your romanced Garrus or Kaiden.

I love the scene in the bar where you can be all "HEY YOU CAN SEX ME UP INSTEAD OF EDI -WINKWINK-" and then he's like "i'm not kaidan -FRIENDZONNNNE-"

In an alt scene, he says he'd rock your world if you weren't the commanding officer. I want to get him to say that to me since it's the only way Seth Green will ever direct that towards me. XD

They really dropped the ball on that relationship;ME3 pretty much killed my desire to ever play a Shepard who romances Thane.

I guess it's still better than what they did with Jacob :/
But one lousy scene and no reaction when he dies, for a character who was meant to be romancable in his very concept? Seriously, Bioware?

Wow, I felt the exact opposite. I loved how that played out. He was going to die anyway and they gave him this really romantic, heroic end. His prayer for her made me cry and I didn't even romance him in ME2. It made me headcannon that he had some unrequited feelings for my Shep. I'm playing ME2 again just so I can romance him.

Plus, Shepard's revenge on Kai Lang with her omniblade is seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen. When she said, "this is for Thane!" I literally punched the air.
