I was fairly unimpressed with this article, as online polls of this nature are .. 'not scientific' might be an understatement. I don't disagree that EA deserves the backlash, and that wheelbarrows of money don't make for change, but.. a bunch of gamers flooding that non-scientific poll doesn't prove anything other than people who have internet access are mad. When it comes down to it, although there's still something to be said about corporate attitudes and policy - which is a GOOD point to make - there are really more important corporate issues going on here. Millions of people without jobs, homes, and prospects trumps people waving around their $60-70 in discretionary leisure spending any day

I'm glad I read the article. I'd heard about the "Golden Poo" award, and EA's subsequent "At least we're not destroying the environment or shooting baby seals in the face" response (predictable, really), but I had largely brushed it off as just a timing thing. Had this happened even 3 months ago, BofA would be standing at the top wearing their poop-shaped crown
