I've seen pictures, I'm not impressed, krogan are way too skinny, have weird pointy chins and are wearing EVA armour, WTF?

1.55 - that's the monstrosity I'm talking about, at least the Japanese artist who drew that infamous breastfeeding fanart knew what krogan looked like. The anime designers seem to have managed to get Javik looking right, where did they go wrong with the krogan?

The animation in the Dragon Age anime looks far superior to Mass Effect, why not go with the same style for both?

The pointy chin looks like some sort of face armor to me? It hinges with the top ridges? It's more reminiscent of EVA01 to me than anything else. I do agree they look too skinny though.

I think it's a matter of differing tastes. I have a hard time watching cel-shaded cg that Dragon Age is in and much prefer the more traditional-looking animation.

Yeah, I'm near-positive that the chin-pointiness is armor, too- I also definitely saw the Eva vibes, and I kind of approve.

I hope they have Freddie Prinze Jr doing Vega's voice. ...Otherwise it isn't Vega.

I am bizarrely excited for this. I'm just so happy its not 3D awkward style. Will it be bad? Probably. But concept art doesn't look half bad right now.

But I'm still so confused over the decision to do DA in 3D and ME in "2D"*.

*[I know its still largely computer generated.]

Idgaf, I'm totally in to this. Somehow, it seems to lend itself well to the art style they're using. I have no clue why- it just does?
