I had thought about waiting until my RAZR was well and truly dead, but lately it had begun making a nuisance of itself. It would send me half a dozen of the same text message and then the battery wasn't holding a charge anymore--the second battery it's had. On top of all that, Sprint nickel-and-dimed me on the plan I had. With my first phone, I could do some minor web browsing (weather and movie times and all that) that was included in the plan, but with my RAZR I couldn't even do that without them charging me every single time for every little thing. Really obnoxious.

Then, last Friday, I went online to figure out when my contract with Sprint would expire, and it turned out it had done back in February. That was basically what tipped the scale and solidified my decision.
