I have not been posting lately, except for the onslaught of September birthday greetings. Things are just kind of all happening at once around here

The weather issues came and went in a day. We don't get weather here. 364 days of the year, anyway. But when we do, kazow!
Teeth issues are moving along. T plus 5 hours and counting since tooth extraction, and all seems well (so far). Except for my desperate need for chocolate and alcohol, which is more work-related than surgery-related and are both apparent no-nos for the next three days.
I have been putting off a roof recoating for months because it never rains in Arizona. Monday, I had leaks in at least three windows and two roof lines.
I sympathize completely. I had to get some roof repairs a couple years ago. Seemed like I could put it off and put it off, but it did catch up with me.
It's still amazing to me how weather works here in the area. Sky Harbor got it's most rain ever and that wasn't anywhere near what your neighborhood got.
It was funny, Monday I had to go into work like every other non-student schmuck. I saw NO flooding anywhere up Guadalupe road, my commute, except one gutter about 3/4ths of the way to work, and oh, right, the lake in front of *MY* driveway.
I almost started renting kayaks, but it was gone by 6 PM.
Real life takes up so much time! I haven't been posting much either because it's been such a busy summer. Hopefully it will slow down, although there hasn't been any sign of that yet. Like you say, never rains but it pours. Good luck with the course, hope you find it worthwhile!

Congrats on the course!
I wondered if the rain hit you hard. Hopefully the roof issues will go smoothly too.
