You balance the comedy and the seriousness so, so well, and to such great effect. Chuck sacrificing himself in the end was lovely - I hope he's okay! - and the friendship between him and Castiel is so dear.

This is an utterly delightful story, and I get more caught up in it every chapter. Some lines are just sheer genius, like "trickster time loop of softcore gay porn" and "fallen angel penis names." You have such a perfect take on poor Chuck and his low self-esteem mixed with witty pop culture references. Lord of the Rings! Honey, I Shrunk the Kids! (Sam causing a Giant Man-Tears flood, hee!)

Woven cleverly through the comedy are moments of real emotion, such as Castiel's growing friendship with Chuck, and of course, the cliffhanger ending. Poignant and perfect Serenity reference; Chuck truly is an unsung hero, like Mr. Universe.

Looking forward to the final chapter.
