NGL, Calvin and Hobbes has probably been the biggest literary or pop culture influence on my life. I grew up on it, and I think my parents really took the series' message on the power of imagination to heart. Now I'm a functional, creative adult who regularly builds forts in the living room and keeps a Calvinball set in the front closet. :)
