You probably did yourself a favor avoiding fic for a bit. Good thoughts for your doggie! And I totally agree about this season. Watch the first time for emotional response and then again when you're ready to use your brain for comprehension. ;D

I seem to read waaaaay less fic when I'm writing original fiction. I guess it gave me time to read all of Scott Pilgrim, so that's something!

YES. SERIOUSLY. I'm not sure the Glee writers understand internal logic or consistency or any of that totally useful shit. Like, in the episode that was the last straw for me, the boys in the team told their teacher what mental imagery they used to kill their boners. WHAT WHO TELLS THEIR TEACHER THAT WHY. I just...GAH.
